Personalized Flight Instruction

Hello! I’m Aaron Friedman, a Flight Instructor (CFII) based in Columbus, OH. I am a passionate Beechcraft Bonanza owner and currently fly a 1983 A36 Bonanza. While all aircraft designs are a compromise, my (biased) opinion is that the Bonanza is the ultimate personal and family touring aircraft. For me, aviation is a family affair; I frequently use the Bonanza for personal and business travel with my family.

I’m an active member of the American Bonanza Society and part of the Bonanza formation flying community. Since learning to fly formation for the 2023 Bonanzas to Oshkosh (B2OSH) event, I’ve found it to be some of the challenging and fun flying you can do with the Bonanza. As an ABS Ambassador and graduate of the ABS Flight Instructor Academy, I enjoy welcoming new owners to the Bonanza community and helping them get the most of their aircraft.

Beyond my own time in the cockpit, I am deeply committed to the aviation community. I serve as a FAASTeam Representative and Vice President of EAA Chapter 9 where I am also the Ray Scholarship Coordinator.
