As an ABS Ambassador, ABS Flight Instructor Academy graduate, and Bonanza owner, I enjoy helping new or prospective owners navigate the complexities of purchasing an aircraft and transitioning into the role of an owner. My instruction for these iconic aircraft includes:
Transition & Recurrent Training: I use the ABS Guide to Initial Pilot Checkout as a foundation, customizing the syllabus to meet your specific needs.
Relocation & Ferry Flights: If you have a "new-to-you" aircraft, I can fly with you to bring it home, using a transcontinental (or regional) trip as a real-world classroom for long-range planning and IFR operations.
Mountain Training: Having lived and flown in the Sierra Nevada foothills, I can introduce you to the nuances of mountain crossings and mountain airport operations.
I am a firm believer that IFR flying in an "art". I work with clients to develop the skills necessary to plan and execute complex flights that get families and colleagues safely to their destinations. This includes mastering big-picture weather, long-range planning, and becoming more comfortable working in the IFR system.
I also offer transition training, IFR training, and instrument proficiency checks (IPCs) for regular and rusty instrument pilots in a variety of aircraft. Contact me to discuss your specifics needs.
My standard rate is $75 per hour for all ground and flight training. And for specialized services, I offer Full Day and Half Day rates.
For a complete breakdown of rates and policies, please review my full CFI Rates and Policies document.
